British Airways i360: How it was Built
Client: Marks Barfield Architects
After we worked with Marks Barfield architects on the Arts Fund Prize-winning Lightbox gallery and local history museum in Woking, they invited us to design and build an exhibition in the base of their new iconic structure in Brighton, the i360.
This towering landmark, on the edge of the waterfront, has a lookout and restaurant at its top. Our task was to create an engaging temporary exhibition within the gallery space at its base, demonstrating the tower’s ground-breaking design and technology. The structure and its facilities were given a Civic Trust Award in 2018.
