ROYAL ACADEMY CELEBRATES OCEANIA

After the blockbuster success of its Real Studios-designed Revolution: Russian Art 1917-1932 exhibition, the Royal Academy of Arts has invited us to design its landmark autumn 2018 show, Oceania, the first major survey of Oceanic art to be held in the UK.

Featuring an exceptional collection of ancient and modern art from Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia, our scheme will reinforce and enrich the presentation via themes of voyaging, place-making and encounter. The show marks the 250thanniversary both of the Royal Academy's founding and of legendary Pacific explorer Captain James Cook's first voyage on The Endeavour.
