Our ale-inspired scheme of browns, reds, golds and yellows brings warmth to the dramatic, high-ceilinged café area of the Old Brewery, set within a Grade II listed engineering shed. The café leads off the Discover Greenwich exhibition, which we also designed. At night, a shutter seals off the exhibition entrance, as the café transforms into a self-contained restaurant space. Key design elements include huge copper vessels, graphic wall treatments, plus a 'wave' installation of 2,000 suspended bottles over the reclaimed teak sharing table. A glazed link to the original Naval Hospital brewery, now brewing again, leads to an intimate bar, and views onto a walled garden. It has become a hugely popular Greenwich destination since it opened.
