Our scheme for The Cumberland, overlooking Hyde Park, really put this hotel on the map. The vast lobby is a stunning architectural space which combines contemporary art, light and water features to dramatic effect. Shifting patterns of coloured light from sculptural elements animate all the public spaces. Using large scale artworks, colour-infused structural elements and sophisticated AV displays we have generated a distinctive scene that's part art gallery, part lounge. With a project value of £90m, our design services included brasserie, bar, fine dining restaurant, conference suite and 1,027 Art + Tech bedrooms, raising facilities and environment to a standard that can compete with the best of London's hotels.
