Our design for Vienna's first truly modern five-star hotel combines cutting edge interior design with Viennese tradition and culture. Sculptural light features frame the lobby, restaurant and bar areas, with colours that shift through the spectrum as day progresses to night. Working with contemporary Viennese artists, we commissioned original art works for all the public areas. These are dramatically lit and displayed in a scheme that also showcases artefacts from Vienna's Theatre Museum, providing a striking series of 'scenic views' throughout the space. Our brief was to refurbish 350 Art + Tech bedrooms, the lobby, bar, conferencing suites and café to a project value of 120m Euros. The result is a vibrant new destination for Viennese and visitors alike.
