Out of this World - Science Fiction but not as you know it
Client: The British Library
We drew on a huge range of literature and influences spanning almost two thousand years in our design for the British Library's celebration of science fiction, creating drama and impact through simple but striking displays of illustrations, artefacts and memorabilia, interspersed with dramatic set pieces.
A Tardis, an alien and a crash-landed spaceship are among the iconic sculptural installations which punctuated the five different themed sections grouping science fiction literature, TV, poetry, film and comic output by sub-genre, such as alien worlds, virtual worlds, or the end of the world.
