Real Studios is delighted to be working with Waddesdon Manor on a display of 12 exquisite European silver-gilt standing cups, known as the 'Aldobrandini Tazze' for Silver Caesars: A Renaissance Mystery, which runs for three months, from April 2018.

These 16th century cups each depict 4 scenes from the lives of the 12 Caesars over 150 years of Roman history, but nobody knows who commissioned or made them, and at some point they were mis-matched and dispersed all over the world. This show, transferring from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, is the first time they have been correctly matched and exhibited together for 400 years.
